This county-operated Department of Mental Health (DMH) facility provides outpatient psychiatric services to adults with serious mental illness in the Southern California High Desert region. The facility maintains established clinical protocols to support continuity of psychiatric care delivery within the county mental health system. Locum tenens coverage is sought to meet the ongoing psychiatric care needs of the community served.

Victorville, California offers a range of attractions suited to diverse interests. Visitors may explore the California Route 66 Museum, Bottle Tree Ranch, and Mojave Narrows Regional Park, as well as shopping and entertainment options including the Mall of Victor Valley and Victor Bowl. Clinicians will provide full-time outpatient psychiatric care for adult patients with serious mental illness (SMI) during day shifts, Monday through Friday, following a schedule of either five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days per week. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and managing medications for adults presenting with SMI in an on-site outpatient setting. Documentation is completed using the EPIC EMR system. No call requirements are associated with this assignment.
