Registered Nurse

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive medical-surgical and pediatric care at a rural-critical access hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedic, cardiac, pediatrics, telemetry, and Epic electronic health record systems. This position involves weekend shifts, requiring flexibility and dedication.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess clinical conditions regularly.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care, medication, and health maintenance.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and escalate concerns as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Demonstrate prior experience in medical-surgical and pediatric patient care.
• Possess proficiency in Epic electronic health record systems.
• Show flexibility to work weekend shifts consistently.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Maintain current CPR and BLS certifications.
