We're looking for a full-time, Quality Control Inspector to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Parsons, Kansas. As the Quality Control Inspector, here's the work you'll do: Performs the handling required to accomplish the assigned inspection/testing functions. Maintains Quality Control charts and other records to report results of assigned inspection/test function. Observes and monitors production operations to verify compliance with approved SOP, Quality Work Instructions and other applicable procedures. Reports defects/discrepancies, coordinates MRB disposition and initiates requests for corrective action in accordance with approved procedures. Investigate problems and report to appropriate staff for assistance/resolution. Verifies setup calibration of inspection/test equipment in accordance with approved procedures.

And if you have these qualifications: High School and/or equivalent plus 6 hours of Principles of Accounting, or higher level math. At least 1 year experience in manufacturing industry, related inspection experience. Quality Control Inspector training is required to achieve and maintain certification. Ability to use different types of measuring equipment. SAP experience a plus.

Capacity to reason and make sound decisions. Capacity to express thoughts orally. Expertise in: Ability to wear a mask, respirator, bullet proof vest, or other equipment. Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g. extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.)
