About the Role
The Company is seeking three individuals to join its Board of Directors. The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising the management of the company's affairs, acting in the best interests of the broader organization, and maintaining the highest level of integrity and professionalism. Ideal candidates will have a background as a private or public sector senior leader with Board and governance experience, particularly in large, complex organizations with a citizen-centered approach to governance. Experience in public policy, governmental relations, and a wide range of stakeholder management is essential. The strongest candidates will have a proven track record in leadership or Board roles, especially in large-scale and complex infrastructure projects, and may also bring financial strategic oversight experience. Candidates for the Board of Directors should have a passion for world-class transit systems and be champions for the development of an unrivaled, integrated transportation organization. The role requires individuals who are regular transit users and who can reflect the diversity of the customers served by the company. Sound acumen in Board governance and an understanding of and experience with various levels of government are highly desirable. The Screening Panel is particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to the company's mission of providing essential transportation services for the benefit of citizens.
