In your role as a Tire Technician you will work closely with the mechanics and other maintenance staff to ensure a vehicles are road ready in a timely and safe manner.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair tire issues on various waste management vehicle
Performs preventative maintenance on vehicles to enable minimal downtime
Perform tire rotations, alignments, and balancing as needed
Monitor tire pressure and tread depth regularly to ensure optimal performance
Executes work orders and turns into Maintenance Supervisor for company records
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks
Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure vehicle readiness
Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

The successful candidate profile includes:

1-2 years experience working as a tire technician or similar role preferred
Familiarity with tire maintenance equipment and tools
Knowledge of tire types, sizes, and specifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must be able to pass criminal background check
Must be able to sit, kneel, crouch, stoop, crawl, balance, hear, talk and smell
Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
