As a Residential Juvenile Security Officer in Ridgeville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will help manage access control, monitor activity, and support daily security-related operations in a professional setting. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. Through routine presence, strong communication, and a caring, team-first approach, you will help to deter incidents while delivering reliable service with integrity and innovation.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entrances and exits, verify identification and authorization, and help to control the movement of employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with facility contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident reports, and follow established procedures for restricted areas, key control, and/or credential distribution.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• COLA DPSS/DHS tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
