Senior Front End React Engineer

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We expect formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with 8+ years of applied experience.
• We require 8+ years of hands-on UI development experience, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership or lead developer position.
• We need deep expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• We value proven experience designing and delivering micro-frontend solutions.
• We look for a strong record of building and sustaining reusable UI component libraries.
• We need the ability to create rapid prototypes and refine them based on user feedback.
• Experience with modern design systems such as Material UI or Ant Design, as well as CSS frameworks, is required.
• A solid grasp of UI/UX principles, accessibility, and responsive design is important.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and motivate junior developers are essential.
• We expect demonstrated experience leading the effective use of enterprise-approved AI-assisted software development tools, including setting expectations for validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• We require a strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations.
• Experience coaching senior engineers and leads on compliant AI usage patterns and controls is required.
• Preferred: experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Preferred: familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Preferred: exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Preferred: working knowledge of Java Spring Boot.
• Preferred: experience with automated UI testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.

• We architect and implement micro-frontend solutions that support modularity, scalability, and maintainability across applications.
• We build and maintain a reusable UI component library to promote consistency and efficiency.
• We partner closely with UX/UI designers and product owners to turn wireframes and user needs into production-ready code.
• We rapidly prototype new features and concepts, gather feedback, and iterate before full-scale buildout.
• We mentor and coach junior UI developers while fostering technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• We review and debug code to ensure best practices in code quality, accessibility, and performance.
• We stay up to date with emerging UI technologies and industry trends and help champion their adoption.
• We work with backend and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of UI solutions.
• We drive the adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• We establish measurable validation standards, including secure coding, peer review, and automated testing, while promoting reuse of proven patterns and automation within the SDLC/TLM toolchain.
• We apply knowledge of software development life cycle tools, including approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to maximize automation value at scale.
