Full Stack DeveloperWe are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our team. This position is available for flexible teleworking. The selected individuals will need to live in the DC Metro area to report to HQ in Arlington, VA twice per month (a minimum of 2 days per 2-week period on average).Position Details:Work with data scientists and analysts to rapidly design, implement, test, and deploy applications capable of tackling complex analytical tasks using large datasetsCommunicate with end users, team leaders, and team members to create and support new products and featuresCommunicate with product users to enhance or troubleshoot productsDesign client-side and server-side architectureBuild the front-end of applications through appealing visual designWrite effective APIsBuild features and applications with a responsive designWrite technical documentation and support data governance strategyFunction in an Agile based team environmentPrimary Requirements:MUST have a Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or relevant fieldMust have professional certification(s) in a related field of web development and/or front-end/back-end disciplines3+ years of JavaScript development experience (client-side and server-side)5+ years of experience with full stack development5+ years of experience and skill writing coding languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, SQL, C#)Knowledge or experience in agile project management is idealProfessional certification(s) in a related field of web development and/or front-end/back-end disciplinesExperience with UI/UX design is desiredKnowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, jQuery)Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Python/C#) and backend frameworks (e.g. Flask, Django)Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, Teradata), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX designExperience in designing and integrating different API architectures (e.g. REST, gRPC)Server management and deployment for the relevant environments (e.g. Azure, AWS)Note: Candidates MUST be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance. Must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in the last 5 years and have resided in the US for the last 5 years.Secondary Requirements:Knowledge of message brokers (e.g. Kafka, EventHub), version control (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub) and Websockets.Knowledge of architectural patterns (e.g. Monolith, Microservices, Serverless, Service Mesh).Knowledge or familiarity with Databricks.
