Job Title: Junior Software Developer

Department: Funeral/Cemetery Services, Argent Trust Company

Supervisor: Prakash Mohan

General Job Description

Junior Software Developer will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility software programs.

Essential Duties

Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
Work with the project manager or product owner to meet specification needs
Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs
Document all programming tasks and procedures
Perform routine software maintenance

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

C# and strong T SQL experience.
HTML5, ASP.NET MVC, and MS SQL Server experience a plus.
Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus
Deadline and detail-oriented
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Emotional intelligence/awareness
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/management information systems (MIS), preferably

The Funeral & Cemetery Division of Argent Trust supplies deathcare operators with trustee, investment management, and specific accounting and tax services. FSI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Argent and specializes in technology enablement, particularly the recordkeeping of certain deathcare records necessary to be maintained by funeral home and cemetery operators.
