Job Responsibilities

• Perform extensive patient assessments, which include thorough physical examinations and in-depth reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions, interpreting imaging studies and lab findings
• Work closely with surgeons to design and implement surgical treatment plans tailored to individual patients
• Provide intraoperative support through preparation of operating rooms, patient positioning, and instrument handoff throughout procedures
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Experience with clinical rotations focused on surgical practices strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
