Travel Physical Therapist - $2,416 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Bethesda, Maryland. This 13-week assignment requires 40 hours per week with 8-hour days. Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts per day Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines. Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within the respective state. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care. Understand and use adaptive equipment. Evaluate and create a plan of care, modifying it as indicated based on patient’s condition. Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6-month experience; 1 year preferred. New graduates encouraged to apply. BLS certification and state-specific licensing. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. Compensation Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. #J-18808-Ljbffr
