This role supports all aspects of client relationships, including account administration, client service, financial planning, and proactive communication.Key ResponsibilitiesClient MeetingsSchedule client meetings and coordinate logisticsPrepare comprehensive meeting materialsComplete and track all follow-up itemsMaintain accurate and timely updates in the CRM systemClient Service & Account AdministrationPrepare and process new account applicationsFacilitate account transfers and money movement requestsTrack transactions through completionRespond to routine client inquiries with accuracy and professionalismDraft Investment Policy Statements (IPS) and IPS addendumsCommunicate directly with clients to confirm transactions and address questions or concernsMarketing & New Client OnboardingPrepare prospective client materials and required disclosuresSupport the onboarding process for new clients from start to finishAssist with follow-up actions to ensure a smooth transitionYear-End Planning SupportProvide operational support for key year-end activities, including:Family and charitable giftingRequired Minimum Distributions (RMDs)Roth IRA conversionsCapital gains managementDocument activities in CRM and prepare confirmation communicationsReportingGenerate investment, performance, and tax-related reports as requested by Portfolio ManagersAnnual Account ReviewsExecute follow-up tasks related to comprehensive annual client reviewsEnsure all activities meet compliance standards for both managed and courtesy accountsPortfolio Management SupportAssist with portfolio rebalancing, trading, and cash management activitiesFinancial PlanningSupport the preparation of financial planning deliverables, including:Statements of financial objectivesNet worth statementsRetirement projectionsCash flow analysesQualificationsBachelor’s degree required; Business or Finance a plus2+ years of experience in financial services preferredWorking knowledge of financial markets and investment conceptsInterest in pursuing CFP, CFA, CPA, or MBA strongly preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong written and verbal communication skillsProfessional presence with the ability to communicate effectively in both group and one-on-one settingsHigh attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skillsAbility to work independently, collaboratively, and cross-functionallyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with Tamarac is a plusSalary :$51,800.00 - $95,900.00Pay Type:SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
