Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Brinton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center – Glen Mills, PA Employment Type: Full-Time PRN (Per Diem) Join Our Rehabilitation Team! Brinton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders, helping them achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life. Responsibilities Evaluate residents to identify speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each resident’s needs and goals. Provide evidence-based speech therapy services to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function. Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Complete timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, communication strategies, and swallowing safety. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, dietitians, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive resident care. Maintain compliance with all facility policies, state and federal regulations, and professional standards of practice. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to support positive clinical outcomes. Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply if applicable. Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or long‑term care setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of dysphagia assessment and treatment. Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient‑centered approach to care. Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
