• ?Manages nursing practice and unit operations. Monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Implements evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Ensures adherence to standards of care. Promotes a culture of accountability and transparency in the provision of care. Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• ?Manages admissions and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput.
• ?Fosters interdisciplinary communication and collaboration within and across departments to meet patient care needs.
• ?Supports efforts to reduce variation in nursing practice and improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• ?Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse or other licensed clinician in the state of Texas or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
• BLS required.

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of one year of experience in specialty in an acute environment is required
