Operations Coordinator

Operations Coordinator Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (potential over time) Payrate: $25 - $27/hr We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support daily logistics, inventory, and transportation operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating workflow between departments, and ensuring equipment processing and outbound shipments are completed efficiently. - Create, maintain, and close work orders to support daily operations.
- Maintain operational records and reports to ensure production visibility and accountability.
- Coordinate workflow between multiple departments to keep operations running efficiently.
- Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), repair transfers, yard movements, and transportation documentation.
- Ensure shipping and customer documentation is accurate and complete.
- Support outbound shipments and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Track inventory movement, aging equipment, cocooning activity, and retender performance.
- Coordinate container arrivals, unloading schedules, and empty container tracking.
- Assist with daily quality audits, including aging equipment, cocooning, paint repairs, and equipment processing.
- Identify quality concerns and document corrective actions.
- Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
- TWIC Card required
- Previous administrative, logistics, warehouse office, transportation, or operations experience preferred.
- Experience working with Bills of Lading, inventory, shipping, or transportation documentation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Primarily based in an office/work trailer located within an active industrial yard.
- Regular walking outdoors between work areas is required in varying weather conditions.
- Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.
