• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant RN experience in acute care; first-time travelers need 2 years of perm staff RN experience
• Patient Types: Medical Surgical/telemetry, post-op, sepsis, cellulitis, DVT/PE, CHF, COPD, COVID, PNA; occasional Joints and GI surgeries
• Patient Ratios: RN 1:5-6, nights 1:6; CNA 2 per shift

What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Manage a variety of diagnoses, including post-surgical care, sepsis, and chronic conditions such as CHF and COPD
• Perform wound management, JP drains, wound vacs, and care for hemodialysis catheters and fistulas
• Chart using Meditech Expanse EMR system accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including hospitalists, therapists, and ancillary services
• Float to different Med/Surg units as needed, with orientation provided
• Maintain compliance with safety and competency standards, including passing an EKG competency exam

What You Need:

• Required:
• Valid RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• 2+ years of RN experience in acute care settings
• Ability to pass EKG competency exam
• Strong wound care, IV, and pain management skills
• Preferred:
• Experience with telemetry and post-op care
• Ability to float across various units
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
