Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000 per year, plus performance bonus potential tied to cost-per-set-appointment targets

Direct reports: None. This seat manages projects and vendors, not people.

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to build out and optimize our demand generation engine and grow our brand presence. The role is primarily residential focused but will also support our commercial division.

This is a seat with a number on it. You will own the path from marketing spend to set appointment, and you will report that number every week. Strategy is set with the Marketing Leader; this seat makes the number move.

This is a hands-on seat. You will be in the ad accounts, in the CMS, and in the analytics yourself — not directing someone else to do it.

This role is perfect for someone who loves performance marketing, being creative, extracting insights from data, and seeing measurable impact from your work.

About You

You can build a paid search campaign, write the copy that makes it convert, and design the landing page it points to. You have strong creative instincts, not just for visuals, but for ideas. Testing new channels, crafting smarter messaging, extracting actionable insights from unstructured data, and leveraging technology to fuel growth energize you. You don't wait to be told what to test — through empirical evidence and refined intuition, you develop it.

You are also comfortable being measured. You can sit across from an owner, defend a cost-per-appointment trend, and tell a vendor their performance isn't good enough.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-channel demand-gen campaigns (Google, LSA, Meta, affiliates, print).

• Own CNT's organic presence — optimize the website and Google Business Profiles across all markets.

• Optimize conversion rates across the funnel (ads → landing pages → forms → nurturing).

• Create campaign content — ads, landing pages, email sequences, case studies, and spec sheets.

• Manage the media budget and build the tracking, dashboards, attribution, and reporting behind it.

• Set the direction and content calendar for CNT's social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn); day-to-day posting and response are handled by the marketing coordinator seat.

• Partner with sales to support commercial efforts and high-priority initiatives.

• Design and develop sales support collateral.

• Represent CNT at home shows, trade events, and community functions as needed.

What You Can Change Without Asking

Page copy, meta descriptions and on-page SEO, forms, landing pages, and the checkout and purchase flow. Move on these without waiting.

Structural changes to site architecture and visual design go through the Marketing Leader and CNT’s design partner. You implement their concepts; you are not expected to originate them.

First Twelve Months

• Get the Happy Crawlspace online purchase path working end to end — a homeowner orders encapsulation in a few clicks without friction.

• Bring CNT’s websites current and optimized for organic search across all markets.

• Stand up weekly reporting on inquiries, sets, and cost per set appointment.

• Put the PPC and SEO vendors on a performance standard with numbers attached.

Requirements

• 4+ years in marketing, demand generation, or growth-related roles.

• Proven lead generation ability — ideally for a local or regional services business.

• Experience managing outside PPC and SEO vendors and holding them to performance numbers.

• Comfortable owning a budget and defending the numbers it produces.

• Data-driven self-starter — generates ideas, acts on them, follows through, and reports results.

• Highly organized — comfortable managing multiple channels and markets independently.

• Hands-on with a CMS — builds and edits pages, executes on-page SEO, and can make a purchase or checkout flow work without waiting on a developer for routine changes.

• Design-capable — can produce clean creative and copy without always relying on an agency.

Nice to Have

• Experience with traditional media channels (TV, radio, print, OOH).

• Home services CRM familiarity (ServiceTitan, HubSpot, Salesforce, Jobber, or similar).

• Experience marketing to construction, engineering, or industrial audiences.

• Experience with call tracking and marketing automation platforms.

• E-commerce or online checkout experience — Shopify, WooCommerce, or a comparable platform.
