Make a meaningful difference supporting students by utilizing your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) expertise in an educational setting. This contract position provides an opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster positive behavioral outcomes for students and staff.
Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience implementing behavior intervention plans in school environments preferred
- Strong data collection, analysis, and progress monitoring abilities
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and report-writing skills
- Ability to consult effectively with educators, families, and support personnel
- Dedication to ethical practice and professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments for individual students
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans in collaboration with school staff
- Provide direct and consultative services to support teachers and paraprofessionals
- Offer training and coaching to school personnel on behavior management strategies
- Monitor data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and recommend adjustments as needed
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise on behavior supports
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with all relevant regulations
