Radiology Technician

Radiologic TechnologistThis position is eligible for a commencement bonus of $7,500.00, with 50% payable at or around the hire date and the remaining 50% payable after six (6) months of continuous employment.Under the direction of the radiologists and the supervision of the Director of Radiology, operates a Computerized Tomographic scanner to image the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities.The anticipated hourly range for this position is $32.41/hr - $40.51/hr - $43.76/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's applicable experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors.Essential Requirements: Must be a graduate of an American Medical Association-approved school of radiologic technology and be registered in at least radiography. Additional certification in computed tomography is preferred. Training and/or experience specific to radiology practices regarding neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients are required and must be willing to cross-train in additional imaging modalities. Proven ability to interact effectively with patients, co-workers, practitioners, and visitors, willingness to work in a team-oriented environment, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills are required. Familiarity with computer applications is required, Meditech Health Information System is preferred, and must have technical aptitude and a willingness to learn software applications.About AVH:The major strength of Androscoggin Valley Hospital (AVH) is found in its wide network of specialists who provide care throughout Coos and portions of Carroll County, NH.
