Job Overview

We are seeking hardworking individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. In this role, you will assist with sorting and processing recyclable metals, loading and unloading materials, and supporting daily warehouse operations. This position is physically active and requires the ability to work both indoors and outdoors while handling materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Key Responsibilities

• Sort and separate metals for recycling and processing.
• Move, organize, and handle materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Work in a combination of warehouse and outdoor environments.
• Perform repetitive lifting and movement of metal products up to 50 lbs.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, recycling, or industrial environments is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a heavy industrial setting.
• Ability to perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Experience with material handling and general warehouse duties is a plus.
• Willingness to work outdoors for portions of the day in varying weather conditions.

Safety Requirements

• Must be comfortable wearing PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, high-visibility vests, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and following company procedures.

Work Environment

This position is based in a heavy industrial recycling facility operating Monday through Friday on a day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM . The environment can be dusty, noisy, and physically demanding, but safety is a top priority and all required PPE is provided or required onsite.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
