Construction Superintendent

We are partnered with a leading general contractor focused on delivering technically complex ground up construction projects across commercial, industrial, mission critical, healthcare, education, and advanced technology sectors. This role is responsible for leading field operations, driving project schedules, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safe and high-quality execution from mobilization through project turnover. Role and Responsibilities Lead day to day field operations on ground up construction projects from site mobilization through final completion Manage and maintain the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager and subcontractor teams Supervise all subcontractor activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project documents Coordinate all phases of construction including civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scopes Drive site logistics planning including access, material flow, equipment coordination, and trade sequencing Conduct daily huddles, subcontractor coordination meetings, and schedule reviews to maintain field productivity Oversee inspections, quality control processes, and punch list completion throughout the project lifecycle Identify and proactively resolve field conflicts, constructability concerns, and scheduling impacts Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a strong culture of jobsite safety Coordinate closely with MEP trades to maintain installation sequencing and support commissioning activities Track daily progress, manpower, and field reporting while communicating project updates to internal leadership and clients Support turnover, startup, and closeout activities including commissioning and owner training where applicable Projects & Scope Ground up commercial construction Mission critical and data center projects Industrial and advanced manufacturing facilities Healthcare and higher education construction Large-scale projects with significant MEP infrastructure and coordination Fast track construction and phased project delivery environments Qualifications and Experience 5+ years of construction experience with a strong field leadership background Required: Experience as a Superintendent on ground up commercial, industrial, or mission critical projects Required: Ability to lead subcontractor coordination and maintain aggressive project schedules Strong understanding of construction sequencing, safety management, and quality control processes Preferred: Experience with data center, advanced manufacturing, or healthcare construction Preferred: Experience managing technically complex MEP-heavy projects Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules OSHA 30 preferred Procore or similar construction management software experience preferred What’s on Offer Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with employer contribution PTO and company holidays Opportunity to work on technically challenging and high-profile projects Career advancement within a rapidly growing national contractor Exposure to diverse project sectors including mission critical, industrial, and advanced technology construction #J-18808-Ljbffr Scott Humphrey Corporation
