A server is to ensure that each guest has a positive dining experience from start to finish and that all expectations are exceeded and any issues that may arise are quickly resolved.Job Responsibilities:Greet all customers warmlyAdhere to grooming and appearance standardsPrepare dining tables for service, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparations and side-work tasksTake guest food and beverage orders accuratelyKnowledge of current menu choices, specialties and menu deviationsHandle table assignments, seating customers, food and drink suggestions, and communicating customer needs to the cooksEnsuring a memorable dining experienceProperly open and pour wine tablesideAccurately record revenue and accept cash, credit card, room charges and direct billing paymentsPerform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisorAssist with special events if neededAnswer telephone using appropriate etiquetteDevelop and maintain positive working relationship with co-workers and othersBus tables and assist with processing dirty dishes if necessaryAssist kitchen with prep work or plating if necessaryClean all front of the house areas including windows, light fixtures and entrance as assignedFill water bottles, cut fruit, roll silverware, and complete other service-related tasks as assignedPerforms other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by managementLocation: Wyndham Fort SmithReq Number: FOO-26-00129This position is currently accepting applications.
