Operations Manager Location: The Greater Danbury Area, Onsite Salary: $120,000-$140,000 Why This Opportunity Stands Out Step into a next-generation leadership role as senior department heads approach retirement Lead a team of direct reports across planning/buying, quality, production, and shipping/receiving Play a key role in implementing a new ERP system (Microsoft Business Central) across the organization Gain international exposure with occasional travel to the UK for management meetings Broad, high-impact scope spanning production, quality, purchasing, maintenance, and supply chain Influence strategic planning around capacity, resource allocation, and process improvement Consistent, predictable schedule — 5-day work week, fully onsite Key Responsibilities For The Operations Manager Lead all plant operations, including production, quality assurance, purchasing, and logistics Develop operational strategies supporting productivity, safety, and cost-efficiency Monitor production KPIs (throughput, yield, downtime, on-time delivery) and drive improvements Manage manufacturing schedules, staffing levels, and resource allocation Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for production issues Develop and monitor operational budgets and capital expenditures Qualifications For The Operations Manager At least 5 years of experience in Operations or Supply Chain management in a managerial/leadership capacity Strong people management and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365 suite Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central a plus)
