Practice Leader - Water/Wastewater

Job Description:OverviewThe Practice Leader will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our Water/Wastewater projects, providing technical expertise, and driving strategic growth.ResponsibilitiesProvide overall guidance on the design and technical aspects of the team(s) projectsPrepare proposals and client agreementsMonitor project tasks, budgets, and schedules with Senior Project Managers and Project ManagersResponsible for the oversight of technical and professional development of project team(s)Participate in developing company design and production standardsDevelop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leadersActively participate in professional associations and civic organizationsQualificationsBachelor of Science degree in agricultural or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited college or universityProfessional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the State of TexasMinimum of 15 years' experience managing substantial projects from conception to completion including estimating costs of technical tasks in W/WW projects; at least 10 of those years managing projects; Houston area experience and contacts are a strong plusIndustry recognized professional in one or more of the following areas: water supply, water treatment, water booster stations, wastewater treatment, and/or large diameter pipe installation.Proven ability to effectively communicate, both oral and written skills, with all levels of employees in an organizationProven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials, and community leadersProven ability to lead a team of engineers and support personnelActively involved in professional associations and civic organizationsMust be able to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through FridayEEO Statement:All qualified applicants for Pape-Dawson Engineers will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. #J-18808-Ljbffr Poulos-
