Essential Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia Special Education teaching certification (required for consideration)
• Previous experience within K-12 special education settings preferred
• Proven ability to maintain effective classroom management and deliver individualized instruction
• Strong skills in collaborating with general education staff to support inclusive practices
• Experience developing, implementing, and tracking Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized, hands-on instruction to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster academic and social success
• Support IEP development, implementation, and ongoing documentation
• Use data-driven strategies to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain organized records and thorough documentation for compliance
• Foster a supportive, structured classroom environment that prioritizes safety and respect
