Talento Search Group has an opening for a Manual Machinist in the Madisonville, Kentucky area. This is a direct-hire position on 1st shift.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform manual machining with lathes, milling machines, saws, and grinders
• Read blueprints and schematics
• Perform changeovers on equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair machine breakdowns
• Perform manual lathe, mill, and drill press equipment
• Construct jigs and fixtures
• Braze material as needed

Experience Needed:

• At least 3 years of recent machining experience
• Ability to make parts and repair tooling using mills and lathes
• Experience with drill presses, manual mills, and manual lathes
• Must be able to read blueprints, use dial calipers, micrometer, depth gauges, and scales
• Ability to perform shop math and ability to read schematics
