West Sacramento, CA | 100% On-Site | 3-6 Month Temporary Assignment



Pay: $33-$35/hour

We are seeking an experienced HR / Recruiting Coordinator to support a fast-paced company in the construction industry . This role will focus on recruiting coordination, pre-employment requirements, and ensuring new hires are fully prepared for Day 1.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities from offer through Day 1.
• Initiate and track background checks, drug screens, employment verifications, references, physicals, and other required screenings.
• Prepare and process new hire and HR onboarding documentation, ensuring accuracy and completion.
• Coordinate candidate communication, interviews, onsite visits, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate candidate and onboarding information in the ATS.
• Monitor outstanding recruiting/onboarding requirements and proactively resolve delays.
• Coordinate new hire handoffs between recruiting, HR, and hiring teams.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, HR, and/or onboarding experience.
• Hands-on experience with drug screens, background checks, employment verification, and pre-employment requirements required.
• Experience preparing HR/new hire onboarding documentation and Day 1 onboarding.
• Strong understanding of recruiting and candidate lifecycle processes.
• ATS experience and strong attention to detail.
• Construction or similar fast-paced industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to work 100% on-site in West Sacramento .
