Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical exams and meticulous reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results with keen insight
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, crafting and implementing bespoke surgical treatment strategies for patients
• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance - preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and delivering instruments with precision during procedures
• Administer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, ensuring medication delivery, wound care, effective discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably, completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practice

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certified
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
