Non Medical Caregiver

Job Summary:

Right at Home Torrance is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Non-Medical Caregiver to join our team of caregivers who provide care to seniors and vulnerable adults in their home setting. As a Non-Medical Caregiver with Right at Home Torrance, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide non-medical care and assistance to clients in their homes, including companion care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care services such as bathing and dressing

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences

• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Help clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and other household tasks

• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients

• Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided

• Collaborate with clients, family members, and other caregivers to ensure seamless care

• Participate in paid training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Home Care Aide (HCA) license issued by the CA Dept. of Social Services

• Recent TB test (within 90 days if newly licensed or within 2 years if working for another agency)

• Valid driver's license, car insurance

• 18 years or older

• Able to speak and read English

• Authorized to work in the US for any employer

• Must live in or near the South Bay area
