If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.ResponsibilitiesPerform engineering work in various engineering fields within the Infrastructure Practice such as pipelines, pump stations, and storage tanks.Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on small to large projects of a moderately complex natureWork on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, write specifications, facilitate permitting, and prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater infrastructure projectsPrepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables; data entry and analysis, and working through the construction phaseManage projects including being responsible for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standardsDirects team members to produce successful projectsResponsible for training and monitoring staffResponsible for acting independently and making decisions on technical mattersResponsible for identifying and directing sub consultants performing services on projectsDevelop relationships with new and existing clients and maintain those relationshipsProactively pursue work and lead proposals, interviews, and contract negotiationsActive in professional associations, including presentation of technical papers, member of technical committee, etc.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.Registration as a Professional Engineer.10+ years of water and wastewater infrastructure design experience with at least five years of project management experience.Demonstrated experience in the design and construction administration of small, medium, and large water and wastewater infrastructure projects including pump stations, wastewater collection systems, potable and reclaimed water transmission/distribution systems, and pipeline rehabilitation projects.Project management experience including development and management of scope, schedule, budget, and quality assurance plans.Business development experience including development of statements of qualifications, proposals, and interviews.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Civil or Environmental EngineeringCompensation RangeAn employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
