What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare detailed estimates for commercial construction projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs and review architectural, structural and MEP drawings
- Develop scopes of work and bid packages
- Solicit, review and level subcontractor/vendor pricing
- Work closely with Project Managers on bid strategy and project handoff
- Review RFIs, addenda and drawing revisions
- Identify value engineering opportunities and potential scope gaps
- Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors
What We're Looking Fo r
- 2+ years of construction estimating experience
- Experience with a General Contractor preferred
- Experience working on high-end interiors, either commercial or residential xhyhwjd
- Ideally experienced on projects ranging from approximately 5,000 to 20,000 SF
- Strong understanding of detailed interior finishes and construction drawings
- Experience with estimating/takeoff software such as Procore, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, STACK or similar
- Strong communication, organization and attention to detail
