Staff Accountant

Staff AccountantWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of general ledger accounting. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting function within the organization.Duties:Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collection of payments.Perform account analysis, day-to-day sales documentation and verification, reconcile discrepancies in financial records.Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.Utilize accounting software, including SAP entries, to maintain accurate financial data.Assist with tax preparation and compliance as required.Support public accounting tasks, including audits and financial reporting.Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions and records.Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and efficiency.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting or associate's degree preferred.1-2 Years of experience in accounting or a related field is preferred.Strong knowledge of debits and credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.Proficiency in accounting software, SAP exposure would be a plus.Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and account analysis techniques.Understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.If you are passionate about numbers, have a keen eye for detail, and are looking to grow your career in accounting, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
