Also, central to this position is building and managing project teams, ensuring quality control and customer satisfaction, and communicating effectively and proactively to the Group Executive, client, subcontractors, and our vendor partners throughout the project life cycles, as well as ensuring positive financial outcomes of assigned construction projects.The Project Management position at Stoner is a performance-based position where managers are empowered, evaluated and rewarded on achieving a projected level of gross margin earned on their projects.Apply today for immediate consideration!What You Will DoManage project development from initiation to completionPerform electrical bid takeoffs and assemble project bidsBe accountable for project performance and profitabilityWork with all stakeholders to complete project outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, etc.Monitor and support field construction activities, and ensure compliance with construction plans and specificationsCoordinate project subcontractors and associated contractsCreate and update project budgets and other financial reportsClearly communicate expectations to team membersAct as mediator between stakeholders and team membersResolve any issues and solve problems throughout project lifeEffectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with change orderLead, coach, and motivate project team members on a proactive basisProcure work and develop new relationshipsWhat You Will Need to be SuccessfulBachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Solid knowledge of electrical wiring methods, construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principals and techniquesA thorough understanding of electrical, building and energy codes and their application to electrical projects and designMust be capable of electrical estimating to produce job change orders, evaluate and apply job estimates and assist with new estimates as requiredMust be proficient with project management tools and softwareExperience with Accubid Estimating systems is preferredKnowledge of and experience with integrated job cost systems to budget, and evaluate reportsKnowledge of and experience with design-build delivery modelsExperience with identification and quantification of project impactsAbility to use commercial judgment in customer relationsDemonstrated leadership managing peopleExcellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skillsAbility to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and prioritiesAbility to maintain a positive attitude and work environmentOur Benefits100% coverage for Medical, Dental, and Vision, including dependents, with no premium cost to the employee. 401k Program w/ Employer Match Discretionary Profit Sharing Program Paid Time off and Holiday Time OffStoner Electric does not engage with or utilize recruiting or placement agencies for any recruiting or hiring needs.
