Key Responsibilities:

• Plan Review: Examine construction drawings, specifications, permits, and environmental plans for compliance.
• Site Oversight: Monitor daily construction activities, including welding, pipe stringing, excavating, equipment setting, and electrical.
• Safety Compliance: Verify adherence to safety protocols, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), permits-to-work, and proper use of equipment.
• Material & Equipment Checks: Ensure materials and equipment meet required standards, checking for defects or damage.
• Testing & Documentation: Conduct or oversee pressure tests, documenting all findings and generating detailed reports.
• Regulatory Adherence: Enforce federal, state, and local regulations, identifying and reporting violations.
• Issue Resolution: Recommend and track corrective actions for faults, defects, or non-compliance.

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of pipeline codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Detail-oriented, mechanically-minded, with good observational skills.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and generate reports.
• Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and inspection tools (e.g., ultrasonic, X-ray).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
