Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout all shifts. Monitor food quality, freshness, portion control, and consistency. Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating ingredients properly. Coordinate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Support menu development, specials, and recipe improvements as needed. Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance issues promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in a professional kitchen or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen tools, and food preparation standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality. Understanding of food safety and sanitation best practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
