Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Level 3/4 NICU environment with a patient ratio of 3–4 patients per RN
• Operate and monitor specialized neonatal equipment including infusion pumps, isolettes, and patient monitoring systems
• Document patient care accurately using facility EMR systems
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of primarily RNs and unit clerks across day shift operations
• Adhere to strict unit guidelines including dress code and infection control policies

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current BLS certification
• No artificial nails or nail polish per unit policy
• Ability to wear navy scrubs in compliance with unit dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
• Familiarity with neonatal EMR platforms and bedside monitoring technology
• Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate bedside manner well-suited to a collaborative NICU team
