Job Title: Sr. Principal Program Manager Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid) Duration: Long-term In-person interview Description Manages/oversees all aspects of multiple simultaneous fast-paced assigned initiatives with distributed teams. With teams becoming more geographically dispersed, strong leadership and team-building skills are essential. Leads IT initiatives throughout the entire project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure). Develops and manages detailed project plans, manages project scope and sets milestones, manages budget, and tracks project status. Ensures initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget Designs and maintains project vision, project working standards, and agreements Identifies potential risks and develops risk mitigation strategies. Manages issues and troubleshoots problems that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline. Tracks, updates, and proactively communicates project status as it relates to project progress, budget/cost, resource utilization, change requests, issues, risks, and risk mitigation plans. The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders Ability to leverage data analytics for tracking project performance, optimizing processes, and making informed decisions that align with strategic goals. Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training 11+ years of experience in IT project management or a related role. Skills, Licenses, And Certifications Certified ScrumMaster or PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring teams, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and developing self-organizing teams Experience in a variety of computing platforms, such as mainframe, client/server, web, cloud, and social media Experience in DevOps toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and project management software Skills in leadership; team-focused with high energy and a positive attitude Skills in analytics, estimating, and problem-solving Ability to think strategically and develop tactical methods to achieve objectives and goals Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, customers, and external groups, as well as working in a collaborative environment with geographically dispersed resources. Top Requirements 11+ total years in technical project management or delivery management. 5+ years in technical project management or delivery management supporting cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or engineering teams(not general business/administrative PM experience), including hands-on facilitation of agile ceremonies and ownership of technical documentation. Technical project coordination & agile facilitation— running project delivery for concurrent technical workstreams and facilitating Scrum/Kanban ceremonies (refinement, planning, stand-up, review, retrospective), with hands-on backlog management in Azure DevOps or equivalent (Jira, Rally). Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP) or PMP strongly preferred. Requirements intake & status management— eliciting requirements directly from technical and business stakeholders, writing clear user stories with testable acceptance criteria, managing the intake-to-delivery pipeline, and producing recurring status reporting and executive-ready summaries for leadership. Technical documentation & training development— authoring and refining runbooks, SOPs, process/architecture documentation, and knowledge base content, plus defining role-based training requirements and building and maintaining the associated training materials.
