Job Title: Medical Oncology Clinic Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00-15:30) Experience: Oncology experience preferred but not required License: RN License required Certifications: Current BLS certification Must-Have: - Strong interpersonal skills - Patient assessment capabilities - Ability to conduct patient education - Phone triage experience Description: This position offers an opportunity for nurses who enjoy interacting with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers. The medical oncology clinic nurse works primarily in the clinic conducting patient education. Responsibilities also include phone triage and assessing acute clinical needs. This role is integral to the management and support of patients undergoing cancer treatment.
