The candidate will be working with team members to design, develop and perform test plans and procedures according to the SOP and will also record and deliver specific characterization reports based on the issues in software and hardware for in-house products. The position is based in San Jose, California.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):Perform motherboard and system validation testPerform hardware, software, functional testing with test tools such as Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Function Generator, etc.Report hardware and software quality issues into bug tracking systemsRecord and update validation report on each performed taskContribute to validation test plans and test cases preparationResearch root cause and solution of the quality issues which were discoveredQualifications:BS/MS in EE, CE, or CS with 3 years of working experience in Hardware Validation or related is strongly desirableFamiliar with Measuring Instruments such as Oscilloscope, etc.Must have strong inter-personal skillsAbility to communicate effectively in both written and verbal is requiredMust possess excellent teamwork, demonstrating problem solving and prioritization skillsSalary Range EEO Statement Supermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
