Hospital Admissions Representative-Rehab

We are looking for professionals with a friendly attitude and the ability to multitask to serve our patients in our Outpatient Rehab.
This is a full-time position working 8am to 5pm; M-F, and a weekend rotation at $20.90/hour.
Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute is a single specialty orthopedic hospital. We are physician owned hospital and practices. We have been serving the Kansas City area for over 25 years. KCOI was recently named a 2024 Human Experience (HX) Guardian of Excellence Award winner by Press Ganey, which places us in the top 5% of healthcare providers in delivering patient experience.
Job Function:
As an Admissions Representative you will promote a high level of customer service and a caring environment for our patients. Responsibilities include:
- Opening and closing duties
- Greeting and registering patients
- Pre-registration
- Scheduling appointments
- Insurance Verifications
- Collecting and posting copays and deductibles
- Tracking visits and authorizations
- Preparing admissions paperwork
- Admitting patients

Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical Field: 1 year (Preferred)
- Excellent Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
