About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Indianapolis, Indiana, 46237!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: ICU experience Comprehensive assessment skills Care of septic patients Care of mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices Description: The purpose of this position is to provide exceptional care in an intensive care unit setting. Candidates will be responsible for managing complex patient cases, including sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric disorders. The unit practices high patient ratios with individualized care, typically 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3. Equipment used includes Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, and EV 1000. Experience with CRRT and electronic medical records is preferred. Ideal candidates should exhibit team player qualities, a positive attitude, flexibility, and empathy in their interactions. Proper attire includes navy scrubs; personal clothing such as hoodies and non-branded sweatshirts is not acceptable. Candidates will undergo training that includes necessary skills to ensure readiness for working in the intensive care environment.
