Desktop Support Specialist

Desktop Support Engineer (5x a week on-site | Kennesaw, GA) Job Summary We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide day‑to‑day technical support to end users. This role supports computers, applications, and basic IT services, ensuring users can work efficiently and issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and related equipment Troubleshoot common hardware and software issues Assist users with login, password, and access‑related issues Support common business applications and operating systems Set up and configure new equipment for users Document issues and resolutions in a ticketing system Escalate issues to higher-level support as needed Deliver friendly and effective customer service to end users Required Qualifications Experience in an IT support or desktop support role General knowledge of Windows operating systems Experience supporting end users in a business environment Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi‑Fi, connectivity, VPN) Ability to follow troubleshooting processes and documentation Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Preferred Qualifications Exposure to Microsoft‑based environments Experience with Active Directory or user account management Familiarity with ticketing systems Relevant IT certifications (A+, Microsoft, or similar) #J-18808-Ljbffr Optomi
