Music Therapist

The Music Therapist provides therapeutic music services to adults and children, utilizing activities such as listening, singing, moving, and creating music to enhance physical, psychological, and social well-being. Additional duties involve supervising interns, participating in committees, maintaining instruments, and providing emergency support as needed. Qualifications include a bachelor\'s degree in music therapy, CBMT certification, 2-3 years of experience, proficiency in multiple instruments, strong communication, and organizational skills. Physical requirements involve lifting and mobility tasks. They may serve as interim department leader and represent the organization in various capacities.
