Key Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license or COOL (active or pending)
• Proven experience working with elementary-aged students with autism
• Strong classroom management skills, particularly in a special education setting
• Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent collaborative skills to effectively partner with colleagues, specialists, and families
• Prior experience supporting diverse learning needs in a resource setting

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to elementary students on a resource caseload
• Develop and monitor IEPs in partnership with a multidisciplinary team
• Foster a nurturing, structured classroom environment to support student progress
• Implement positive behavior interventions and track student growth
• Maintain regular, comprehensive communication with staff and families
