CNC Machinist

Job Description Job Description Description: (Including but not limited to) CNC machinists are responsible for the safe operation of CNC equipment to complete assigned projects and parts manufacturing that meet the required dimensional tolerances for each specific part. KEY FUNCTIONS Program using Mastercam, Set up, and run CNC machinery Lathe and mills independently Handle routine maintenance on all computer-controlled machines. Achieve tight machining tolerances down to +/- 0.0005. Complete tasks independently or alongside team members. *This job description is a summary of the primary job scope and should not be assumed as an all-inclusive description* Work Qualifications: Required: Experience with overhead crane operation Experience with forklift operation Utilize both manual tools and CNC equipment effectively. Familiar with precision measuring equipment Must adhere to all APG Safety and Quality procedures and processes Educational Requirements: Required: High school diploma or equivalent OSHA 30 training is a plus Work Environment/Physical Demands: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
