In addition to an online store, Rexel USA has a distribution network of over 460 warehouse storefront locations throughout the U.S.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Distribution Center Lead to join our Rexel team in Carrollton, TX!Summary: The Distribution Center Lead is responsible for helping supervise and perform other aspects of their department to facilitate workflow. In the absence of the Distribution Center Supervisor or Distribution Center Assistant Supervisor, will be responsible for overseeing aspects of the department. Acts as a team lead to a small group of employees generally focused on a limited task.What You'll Do:Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment. Assume responsibility for immediately addressing safety concernsAssist in leading, training, and coordinating work including delivery scheduling, inbound and outbound processes, safety requirements, and special customer requirementsIn the absence of the Distribution Center Supervisor or Distribution Center Assistant Supervisor, will be responsible for overseeing aspects of the departmentMust know all department functions and processesEnsure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment, maintaining the security of the Distribution Center and accurate inventoryEnsure inbound and/or outbound shipments and products are accurate and free of damageEnsure that jobs are correctly implemented, assigned effectively, and completed properlyAssist in maintenance and security of the Distribution CenterOther duties as assignedJob Duties Disclaimer: The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job.
