About the job Manager, External Reporting Hybrid- 3 days onsite Position Overview: A key leadership role focused on the preparation and oversight of external financial reporting, disclosures, and compliance processes. This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, support strategic initiatives, and identify opportunities for process improvements. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership. Key Responsibilities: Manage the preparation of external financial reports in compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Develop and review detailed disclosures for key financial elements and ensure alignment with technical guidance. Collaborate with multiple teams to support financial communication initiatives, including reporting, presentations, and releases. Conduct thorough reviews of financial filings to ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate audits and reviews. Monitor changes in accounting standards, assess their impact, and recommend strategies for implementation. Benchmark reporting practices against industry standards and recommend enhancements. Contribute to sustainability-related disclosures and other specialized reporting initiatives. Provide oversight and guidance on technical accounting matters and process improvements. Mentor and guide team members to ensure quality and alignment with organizational goals. Support leadership on various projects and ad hoc tasks as needed. Requirements : Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field; relevant certifications preferred. Extensive experience in financial reporting and accounting, including public company exposure. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations. Exceptional analytical and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in financial systems and tools; experience with reporting software is a plus.
