Job Description

Job Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for checking in drivers for deliveries and pickups, completing required paperwork and data entry, and coordinating communication between drivers and warehouse personnel. This position supports the daily administrative and operational activities of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Check in drivers arriving for deliveries and pickups
Verify delivery and pickup information and complete required paperwork
Perform accurate data entry of shipment and driver information
Communicate professionally with drivers, warehouse staff, and internal departments
Assist with coordinating daily office and warehouse activities
Maintain organized shipping and receiving documentation
Ensure information is entered accurately into company systems
Assist warehouse personnel with scheduling and shipment coordination
Address basic driver questions and direct them to the appropriate personnel
Follow all company safety and operational procedures
Perform other administrative and warehouse duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Previous experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse administration preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good computer skills and accurate data-entry abilities
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively with drivers and warehouse personnel
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Professional and customer-service-oriented attitude
