Assistant Dairy Team Leader-Glenville

Summary Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for assisting the Grocery Manager with the operation of the Dairy department. Assists the Grocery Manager with budgeted and achievement of financial aspects of the department. Oversees clerks within the dairy department and monitors for proper merchandising, rotation and inventory levels of dairy product to promote optimal opportunity for sales. Responsible for providing a high level of customer service and courtesy at all times. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Consistently provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times. Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers upon fulfilling their requests. Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards. Assist the Grocery Manager with day‑to‑day operations of the dairy department including product merchandising, pricing, stocking, signing, planograms, displays, rotation and inventory levels. Assist with ordering all merchandise and supplies for the dairy department and meet transmission times. Store excess product in cooler or designated area. Maintain a high level of customer courtesy and service throughout the store. Perform front‑end services as business needs require. Ensure all company and state sanitation and pricing procedures and regulations are followed within grocery operations. Unload warehouse merchandise from trucks. Assist with training and development of all new associates in dairy operations. Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures. Perform other related duties assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Pay Range $18.00- $24.00 Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives. Education and Experience NA Physical Requirements Equipment used.
