Provides educational and therapeutic interventions (coinciding with patients' treatment plans and treatment modalities) constructive and beneficial to patients' mental health. Manages materials. Demonstrates an understanding of diversity. Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values). Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients. Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.

What You'll Need To Apply

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation, music therapy, or art therapy (including coursework or an internship in a medical setting)

Required Experience: None

Required Certification/License/Registry: None

Preferred Certification/License/Registry: One of, or eligible for one of, the following: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) credential from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC), Music Therapist--Board Certified (MT-BC) credential from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT), or Art Therapist Registered--Board Certified (ATR-BC) credential from the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB).
